Overview
Briteline Shield UV Overlaminate is a 3 mil UV-resistant calendered PVC laminate with a permanent acrylic adhesive on a smooth 53# kraft liner. It is applied cold and protects prints from UV degradation, abrasion and moisture, with expected exterior exposure of up to 4 years on vertical surfaces under normal conditions.
Briteline's application chart pairs Shield UV with its medium- to long-term films, including Briteline Duration X IM3201X/IM3203X air-egress vinyl and Briteline Translucent film for lit signs, both in our range. Briteline designs it for exhibit and display graphics, interior or exterior.
We stock gloss and matte in 54" and 60" x 50 yd. For indoor short-term work Briteline Shield is less expensive, and for vehicles use Briteline WrapCAST overlaminate.

Printer compatibility
Laminates are not printed. The 54" or 60" rolls cover prints from the 64" HP Latex 570. Laminate HP Latex 570 prints only after they have fully cured and cooled; latex prints come out dry, but follow the film maker's guidance before laminating.
