Overview

Briteline Duration X IM3203X is a 3 mil flexible, gloss calendered film with a permanent gray adhesive and an extreme air-egress liner. The gray adhesive gives excellent opacity to hide what's underneath, and the low-initial-tack adhesive lets you reposition before it bonds fully within 24 hours. It is rated up to 5 years under normal conditions.

Use Duration X for flat and simple-curve applications such as wall graphics, signage, windows and panels, especially when covering an existing graphic or dark surface. The manufacturer does not recommend it for vehicles.

Compared with eSeries IM2203, Duration X adds blockout gray adhesive and air egress for faster, bubble-free installs. For removable graphics consider ORAJET 3621 or 3M 40C.

Printer compatibility

The HP Latex 570 is a 64" roll-to-roll printer, so this 54" roll loads normally. The manufacturer lists latex inks as compatible; use the film maker's HP Latex media profile (or the closest HP generic preset for this film type), let prints fully cure, and run a test panel before production.
