Overview

ORAJET 3551RA is a 2.75 mil high-performance calendered PVC film in gloss white with RapidAir air-release technology and a repositionable, solvent-based gray adhesive. It is rated up to 7 years, which puts it above standard intermediate films for longer outdoor jobs.

It suits flat, riveted and simple-curve surfaces such as box trucks, trailers, fleet sides and long-term signage. It has limited conformability, so use cast film for compound curves.

ORAFOL specifically recommends ORAGUARD 293 (in stock) for vehicle applications with ORAJET 3551 and 3551RA.

Printer compatibility

The HP Latex 570 is a 64" roll-to-roll printer, so this 54" roll loads normally. The manufacturer lists latex inks as compatible; use the film maker's HP Latex media profile (or the closest HP generic preset for this film type), let prints fully cure, and run a test panel before production.
