Overview
Briteline Shield Overlaminate is a 3 mil calendered PVC laminate with a permanent acrylic adhesive on a smooth 53# kraft liner, applied cold without heat. It protects digital prints from abrasion, moisture and handling, and is rated up to 3 years indoors (about 1 year outdoors) under normal conditions.
It is the value laminate for short-term Briteline films: Briteline's own application chart lists Shield gloss as the recommended laminate for Briteline eSeries IM2201 and IM2203 printable vinyl. Briteline designs it to protect digital and screen-printed images for exhibit and display graphics. We stock gloss and matte in 54" and 60" x 150 ft rolls.
For outdoor graphics that need to last, choose Briteline Shield UV (up to 4 years exterior). For vehicles, use Briteline WrapCAST overlaminate.

Printer compatibility
Laminates are not printed. The 54" or 60" rolls cover prints from the 64" HP Latex 570. Laminate HP Latex 570 prints only after they have fully cured and cooled; latex prints come out dry, but follow the film maker's guidance before laminating.
