Overview
Avery Dennison DOL 1080Z is the matte member of the DOL 1000Z Series: a 2.1 mil premium clear cast vinyl overlaminate with a clear permanent acrylic adhesive on a 2 mil PET liner (changed from kraft in 02/2024). Avery rates it up to 5 years of vertical exposure.
It protects prints from scratches with superior conformability to irregular substrates, excellent dimensional stability, and UV, temperature, humidity and salt-spray resistance. Avery lists ASTM E84 Type 1 or A and UL 410 slip resistance, and common uses include fleet, vehicle, marine, backlit, POP, wall murals, floor, window and outdoor signage on flat and riveted surfaces.
DOL 1080Z is designed for Avery MPI 1105 SuperCast. For matte wraps over compound curves, choose the ultra-thin DOL 1380Z.

Printer compatibility
Laminates are not printed. The 54" or 60" rolls cover prints from the 64" HP Latex 570. Laminate HP Latex 570 prints only after they have fully cured and cooled; latex prints come out dry, but follow the film maker's guidance before laminating.
