Overview
General Formulations 231 AutoMark is a premium 2.4 mil calendered gloss UV wrap laminate (clear polymeric vinyl) with a clear permanent solvent acrylic adhesive on a 53# PE-coated kraft liner. GF lists outdoor durability up to 7 years and gloss above 70 at 60°.
GF engineered 231 for most vehicle wrap and decal applications and intends it to be paired with GF 230 AutoMark vinyl, for fleet, wrap, general signage and long-term outdoor graphics. It is applied cold, without heat. With GF 230 the combination carries an ASTM E84 Class 1 or A flammability rating.
Choose 231 when you want a polymeric wrap laminate for box trucks, trailers and decals at a lower price than cast. For deep recesses and compound curves, a cast laminate such as 3M 8518 or Avery DOL 1360Z is the safer choice.

Printer compatibility
Laminates are not printed. The 54" or 60" rolls cover prints from the 64" HP Latex 570. Laminate HP Latex 570 prints only after they have fully cured and cooled; latex prints come out dry, but follow the film maker's guidance before laminating.
