Wrap Vinyl

Wrap vinyl is premium cast film engineered to stretch into recesses, over rivets and around compound curves without shrinking back. Every film in this category is a thin 2 mil cast vinyl with an air-release adhesive that can be slid and repositioned before it is pressed down, which is what makes full vehicle and fleet wraps possible. The flagship options are 3M Controltac IJ180Cv3, the long-proven benchmark with a 7 year rating; 3M IJ280 with Comply v4, which 3M says installs up to 20% faster and lifts 2x less, rated 10 years; 3M IJ180mC-10 with micro Comply for a smoother finish; and Avery Dennison MPI 1105 Easy Apply RS SuperCast. ORAJET 3951RA offers slightly higher initial tack and pairs with the ORAGUARD 290 and 293 cast laminates we stock, which makes it the complete in-stock wrap system here. Briteline WrapCAST is the value choice for budget wraps. Always laminate wraps with the cast overlaminate the film maker specifies. 3M pairs IJ180 with 8518/8519/8520 and IJ280 with 8428G, Avery requires DOL 1000Z/1300Z/1400Z for MPI 1105, and ORAFOL pairs 3951RA with ORAGUARD 290 or 293. Matched systems are what the manufacturer warranties cover. All of these films list latex inks as compatible and come in 54" (and some 60") rolls that fit the HP Latex 570. Allow prints to cure fully before laminating.
