Overview
Primed MDO is Fir/hemlock plywood with a proprietary acrylic primer. "Swan Peel" technology gives a smoother, less-grainy surface with an improved glue and overlay bond, and reduced thickness variance makes a balanced, dimensionally stable sign board. It routes and machines well.
This 4' x 8' x 1/2" panel is primed on both sides for painted signs, double-sided post-and-panel signs and routed signs.
Primed MDO is not a finished product: it requires at least two topcoats and two edge coats before exterior exposure. For a no-paint alternative consider MAXMETAL ACM.
