By BendiRip Technologies Published: November 2026 Reading Time: 3 min
ℹ️
Beta notice: VP-540 support is new in BendiStudio 2.0 Beta (2.0.14) and is marked experimental. Printing and cutting use the VP-540’s own job format, and colour and dot-size tuning will keep improving as more shops print with it. Tell us how your prints come out from the Support page.

What’s new

BendiRip now drives the Roland VersaCAMM VP-540 directly. It is the first Roland printer BendiRip supports natively. Lay out your job in BendiRip, pick a print mode and press RIP. The job goes straight to the printer over your shop network, with nothing else running in between.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I still need Roland VersaWorks to print to a VP-540?
No. BendiRip sends jobs straight to the VP-540 over your network, so no other RIP is needed for printing or for print & cut.
How does BendiRip connect to the VP-540?
Over Ethernet. Add the printer in Add a Device as Roland VersaCAMM VP-540 and enter its network address. USB connection is not supported yet.
Which other Roland printers are supported?
The VP-540 is the first Roland printer BendiRip drives directly. Other Roland models, such as the VS-640i, SP-540i and the TrueVIS series, are not supported yet.
